When Jeep slams a supercharged 6.2L V8 into a Cherokee…well the people are going to want to hear that roar. For the reveal of the 2017 Jeep Trackhawk, we did just that. Building a one of a kind dynamometer within the halls of the Javits Center in NYC, we literally elevated this unique vehicles explosive spec list. A custom UI was created that took the Trackhawk through its paces, from 0-60 times to top speed.

CONCEPT

The reveal began with the Trackhawk, shrouded in darkness, rising on a platform on stage. Light washes over the vehicles as the tires begin to slowly roll and the dynamometer kicks on. Within seconds, the calm before the storms dissipates as the Trackhawk roars to life. Reaching top speeds of 150+ mph indoors in NYC, the only thing louder was the sound of your own heartbeat.

ANIMATION

The custom show animation for this reveal juxtaposed two familiar Jeep visuals: Nature and Engineering. A futuristic UI became the framework in which to show how the Jeep team were able to harness the spirit of adventure with the need for speed.
